I work with emotionally disturbed youth who often need a positive outlet to channel their energy. Many of our students aren't necessarily "athletes" who enjoy typical sports, rather they enjoy unique challenging games. Cooperation and team building are important aspects of physical education and this game is one that teaches both. Our students frequently have conflict with one another and to be able to get them to actually work together and have a good time together is priceless. Every student needs to learn the importance of working with someone even if they don't like them and despite their differences; this 9 Square in the Air game would provide the students with that opportunity.
