Having these laptops will allow us to complete the research needed for many of the different projects we do. With the upcoming Olympics my second graders are currently doing an Olympic project where they have chosen a country and sport to follow through the Olympics. The laptops would allow them to research the country in depth and also keep up with the latest information on the athletes competing. Research is the third goal in the gifted framework, without regular access to technology, it makes it almost impossible to incorporate that goal. I chose Lenovos laptops to allow even my youngest students the ability to use them because of their touch screen feature.
