My students are without working computers this year and have not been able to use our 6 WIFI microscopes unless a personal device is brought from home. Five computers will at least give them one for each lab bench. Students will also use them to engage in interactive online lab activities and interactive quizzes and projects that require a working computer. Computers would give students the ability to gain experience in lab protocols, write team proposals and experiments, create websites and prepare presentations for our project. Biotech students will also use computers to research the role of marine organisms; bacteria, algae, sponges and jellyfish in molecular biology and create their own experiments. Please help us begin a great semester!
