As an 8th Grade history teacher, my students will utilize these laptops to help build the necessary technology skills of the 21st century. The use of technology in the classroom in middle school will help my students become college and career ready as they move forward in their academic careers. With the addition of these laptops to my classroom, the students will have access to research primary and secondary source materials from credible sources to view history from multiple perspectives. From this research, the students will take a position by writing an argument essay with detailed evidence to back up their position.
