My 6th graders need a microscope that will help us learn about cells and the human body. We have a wide variety of abilities and gifts in our classroom. To help meet my students needs, we need headphones and flexible seating options so they can better use our classroom technology. To include all learners in our scientific discovery, we need a microscope that will connect to our computer and project the image on the smartboard. Additionally, because we have a wide variety of reading levels, we need choices in fiction and non-fiction books that connect to our science and social studies curriculum--helping students learn through hands-on experiments as well as appropriately-leveled texts for a deeper engagement in the learning.
