My students deserve to have a variety of materials that will interest and motivate them to improve their speech and language skills. I have such a variety of ages that I work with each day, and some of the books and activities I use each day start to get a little too routine. To keep students learning at their ultimate level I think it is important to keep providing them with new books and supplies. Having a new batch of books and activities will help to keep my students excited to come to Speech and work on their goals and objectives. If working on these goals is enjoyable for them, their motivation will stay fresh and they will be able to make better connections with what they learn and how they can bring those skills to other settings.
