I will have 23 children in the year 2011-2012. They have varied learning abilities and some have behavioral challenges as well: including ADHD, Turrets Syndrome and children with emotional needs such as those who have been in and out of foster care. The academic challenges range from children on Individual Improvement Plans (IEP) to those that are gifted. A listening center is another resource which will enable me to keep the learning environment rich as I endeavor to meet the needs of all learners. Thank you for your help!
