The rugs I am requesting will be used each and every day. The radiating circle rug will provide each student in the classroom a specific place to go to every time we work in a whole group setting. Some of these students struggle with self space issues. This can be disruptive and take time from teaching. With the addition of this carpet to the classroom, every student will have their very own place to sit. The design of this carpet will allow them to know exactly where they belong. The smaller rug will be added to our classroom library area. This will give the students a place to sit and read that is away from their desks. The beautiful blue design will meld with our ocean theme that the students love so much. By donating to this project, you will not only help each and every student have their own space, you will allow them to be fully engaged and increase their academic growth and success. Reading has long been recognized as the number one indicator of success for students. Thank you for helping me create areas in my classroom for students to succeed.
