My co-teacher and I plan carefully to provide opportunities for every student to meet their goals. Because of this, we create many differentiated tasks to help all students gain access to the curriculum. We need a lot of paper because we are constantly running off teacher made worksheets to supplement learning for our students. Black sharpies help the students label their supplies and create vibrant covers for their writing. We use post-its to help our students keep track of what they're reading! Flexible seating will help students who have difficulty sitting in the meeting area to join their peers and work in groups!
These supplies will help me to create endless and differentiated materials for my students all who have different learning needs. My classroom population includes: 12 children with special needs, 10 children who are English Language Learners, 5 children who are below grade level and 3 students on grade level. These supplies will help them achieve their goals. I am extremely thankful for any contribution.
