Items such as the stencils, games, puzzles and other hands on activities will provide opportunities for students to make choices on how they wish to learn. Certain resources will be options for classwork, morning work and/or mindfulness breaks. Students, just like anyone, come into class with all different needs, from all different backgrounds, with a plethora of emotional needs as well. My hope is that these materials provide opportunities for all kids to access when they feel necessary to help alleviate any of those stressors so they are mentally ready to learn to curriculum. Research is showing how important social-emotional needs get met, in order to met academic goals.

About my class
