I am working on incorporating more flexible seating options into my classroom. Options such as wobble chairs, balance balls, and low tables allow students choice and ownership in their learning while also allowing them an outlet for their energy through movement. By donating to this project, you will not only give students choice in their seating and an opportunity to move while learning, you will ultimately increase their academic performance. The Flex Space wobble chairs that I am requesting would be given to students as an option as to where they feel they can learn best. Many of my students have attention issues and sitting on the wobble stool will give their bodies the stimulation needed so that their brains can focus on the academic task on hand.
