My students are very active and it is hard for them to sit in one spot for a lengthy amount of time. We like to move around often to keep our wiggles controllable. This flexible seating arrangement will allow my students to have a comfortable spot for their independent reading time, small groups, as well as working on their chrome books. I want my classroom to feel like their home so different types of seating allows my students to have the chance to sit comfortably while learning. These seating options will be used during guided instruction in reading, writing, and math as well as independent time in reading, writing, and working on their chrome books. My students understand that learning is essential to be successful so providing a different type of seating arrangement in the classroom gets them excited to learn in a different way. I hope that providing different types of seating will encourage my students to be excited about learning. I want them to have the desire to come to school each day excited about what our daily plans are so that they are getting one step closer to being prepared for the fourth grade.
