By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. These items will help my students to have specific places for their books, notebooks, writing utensils and everyday needs. When their things are in specific places it will take less time to locate. Students will be able to focus more on learning outcomes and less on where their things are located. Having organization and expectations helps students to focus and feel less stress. They know what to do and when to do things when there is a specific place to keep their items. We can do away with lining up in front of backpacks, digging through desks looking for pencils, crayons, scissors, and staplers, because they will be in the organizers on their tables. Notebooks will be readily available in the chair pockets and their textbooks on the shelves right beside their tables. When chaos reigns in other areas of their lives, our classroom can be a haven where they can rely upon consistency.
