These items will make a difference in my classroom through hands on activities. All students learn differently and this will give them a change to explore in new and exciting ways. I am hoping that my classroom will become more of a STEM classroom and the items such as the magnetic cubes and K'NEX will help them create different inventions of their own. My classroom is slowly becoming a flexible seating classroom during Daily 5. The balance balls will give them a chance to move around more freely and try new learning styles in a fun and unique way. At this age it is important to read and these leveled readers will help them grow into independent readers. We have book boxes that we use daily, on top of sending books home to practice on a weekly basis. Having new book titles will put a smile on their faces. I have included some science projects too for my kiddos to try in small groups. The slime kit will be be a big hit and something that they can enjoy and then try at home with parents. Giving them different experiences in my room is so important and I cannot wait to see them enjoy these items!
