In our art and music hallway, we used to have bulletin boards to post work. We now have a stark white hallway between our classrooms. Our students and art teachers have expressed an interest in creating a mural in this hallway to brighten and excite our students while coming to creative classes. Our eighth graders are especially excited to leave something permanent behind. We do not have any acrylic paint to start the mural and we have an art show coming up in April. We would like all students to participate in painting the mural during class time and after school. Parents will be here to view the mural when they come to see the art show so we need supplies to start our collaborative project. It would be an amazing accomplishment for our students to create a mural together and have something to be proud of that they all had a part in creating.
