In just a few weeks I will have 22 young 5 year olds coming into my kindergarten class. I would like to be able to help them group independently and to learn how to work with others. My students will be coming from a wide range of experiences. I would like to broaden their horizon by a combination of hands on games and activities. I want my students to be able to leave kindergarten feeling good about them selves. I would like to get a variety of activities for my students. The list is as follows; stem bin activities that promote thinking skills and getting along with others, alphabet games that help students learn to identify letters and sounds, math games that help build math skills counting and matching given numbers. Along with having actual games and hands on activities it would be nice to have a class set of ipads to match individual needs in both reading and math.
