I am honored and proud to serve Fountain Fort Carson's military communities by teaching music to approximately 600 students from Kindergarten through 5th Grade. I teach at one of the four elementary school on post in Southern Colorado Springs. Many of our military children face similar challenges as their parents-- frequent moves, repeat deployments and reintegration. I consider my role in these children's lives a privilege because I am able to share my passion of music with hundreds of students a year. I desire for students to experience music through exciting musical activities through the mediums of instruments, games, creating their own music, and performance opportunities that engage our community! I am passionate about enhancing my students' learning opportunities, and I strive to provide them with the best musical education that I can. Thank you for donating to our program!
