Technology is becoming an increasingly important aspect of day to day life. Having access to even 6 Chromebooks for a class of 20 will make a world of difference. Students will be able to use these chromebooks for Lexia, an online literacy program, research for writing informative pieces in writing, and working on projects in social studies and science. I would love the opportunity to have these in the classroom so that my students can have access to the countless educational resources that would then become available to them. We currently have a set of Chromebooks that are shared among 5 classrooms, making these goals much more difficult to achieve.
