Research shows that flexible seating helps improve attention. It is quite simple, when students are attending and engaged they are learning. Let's face it, kids NEED to be able to move! Sensory exploration supports language, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills, and problem solving skills. Sensory play is also going to help their imaginative and creative side. Discovery, problem solving, and collaboration are keys to learning and that is why we need more hands on experiences. STEM stands for Science, Technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our students are our future, let's help them have the tools they need to be successful.
