We integrate technology every day in all three 4th grade classrooms. We use a great program in math that gives the students the opportunity to choose what they want to work on in a fun and exciting way. For reading, we have another program that digs deep to help our students further they understanding of what they are reading and the different elements within reading. We also complete all testing for class, district, and state on computers. Our school district was kind enough to supply us with fabulous computers and boy do our kids use them! Unfortunately, the headphones provided are three years old and falling apart. While we have been able to get some students to bring their own, we have many families that are barely meeting ends meet and are unable to buy headphones. We are in desperate need to replace the headphones and ensure that there is a pair for every computer as some are now broken.
