My students all have some sort of learning disability, a majority have a Reading disability. "Text to speech" is a huge feature on most programs or assessments that they do on the iPad. This allows them to "listen" to the questions/assignments and the options for answers without having to struggle through the reading themselves. A good pair of headphones, with a microphone, would allow them to listen without outside interference, thus having a better chance to be successful. Plus, with the type of headphone that covers their entire ear they won't have to be preoccupied with the "ear bud" not fitting or constantly falling out of their ear. This is a necessary item for them. With these headphones they would be able to listen and achieve greatness!
