My students will have their own BOOK Bin where they can store books that are Right for them (by reading level and interest). They will also have a warm, inviting, cozy spot they can go read their books! My first graders already enjoy reading! With this new classroom library and reading spot they will all look forward to our literacy station and their reading time. Whether they are quietly reading to themselves or reading to a partner, they will have an awesome place to go read. My students always look forward to their reading time and Daily 5 provides the perfect opportunity. With these improvements my students won't have to waste time picking out books, since they would of already picked them out and have them in their book bins.
