My students need these iPads to help encourage self-motivation, encourage focus and improve on-task behaviors. I want my students to love learning even more and technology is a great way to motivate. These iPads will allow me to upload apps to help improve their letter and number recognition, cognitive skills, vocabulary, and technology skills. In addition, the majority of my students either have a speech impairment or are non-verbal. With these i-pads, I will be able to upload apps that will be able to facilitate the communication and social skills. I know many of my students get frustrate because they are not able to communicate and socialize effectively and these iPads will be a great asset.
