I want to increase the student usage of the Spanish language in my classroom! By creating reading groups, I can have students working toward fluency in small group settings. I want them to carry on conversations in the target language about what they are reading. Students can use these readers as independent reading for their own interests! I am excited to offer them the possibility of that much more language learning through this project! Student comprehension and clarity will also improve due to further exposure to the language and the ability to branch out away from the traditional textbook and learning scenarios.
