My 3rd grade classroom is full of vibrant and eager learners. They are kind and open-minded children. Many come from Spanish speaking homes and need extra support with English skills. Acquiring book sets that can be used in small group centers will give them an opportunity to learn close reading skills and strategies to read independently. Many take these skills home and help younger siblings and even parents to read in English. All students take these skills to the next grade level and beyond. Literacy is a school-wide focus at WCSA and any support with our efforts is greatly appreciated!
