These materials will make a difference in my classroom because they are updates that my students will use every day. They help create a clean and fresh classroom environment. The art displays will protect and showcase their hard work and creativity. Young children learn through hands-on, interactive experiences. They communicate using non-verbal and verbal language, which often modeled through pointing and touching posters and artwork. They touch and explore as they observe and communicate their knowledge to others. The ‘Natural Leaves’ rug adds a fresh, clean look to the room and will help to outline personal space while sitting in large groups. Additionally, the leaves can be used for gross motor activities when being encouraged to balance, hop, and broad-jump, all while being cute, but not over-stimulating.
