My students will benefit from these text rich books that will go along with the units I will be teaching in class. This project will allow my students to have access to these books, not only to hear me read the stories to them, but also to allow my students to read them and have the books to look at. My students are emerging readers and would love the opportunity to read these books to themselves and to others in my classroom who need more assistance to become readers. We would use these books to read in whole group setting and the children would also have opportunities to read them in the reading center.
