Who does not love amusement parks? With these Kids First Amusement Park Engineer kits, my students will get to create rides from the ground up. Included in these kits is a book that students will be able to listen to and then create their rides along the way to fit with the story. 20 different models will be able to be created! Every subject is touched upon in one little box! Reading, math, science, and even art will be worked on as students make their way through this project. This will be a fun way for them to work on fine motor skills, listening comprehension, visual/spatial relationships, science and math vocabulary, and of course reasoning skills. In my classroom, when students feel like they are just playing, they are actually doing some of the best learning!
