Third graders are a wiggly bunch of kids. They stand, spin, jump, fall, sit all in the course of a few minutes. I am flexible in allowing them to stand at their desks, but sometimes they abuse that by climbing on their chairs (and then falling out of them). I need a way to help my students that is safe. Wobble Chairs will help my students get the wiggles out while they focus on the lesson they are learning. Because of our schedule set-up, my students learn from 8:00-11:50 with a few restroom breaks thrown in there. While I try to plan engaging activities that get the students moving, sometimes it isn't enough. My students need a way to be able to move and learn at the same time (even when we're working on yucky word problems).
