By providing flexible seating in my classroom, my diverse learners will be able to address their personal needs, focus more effectively, and reach optimal learning. Flexible seating options will provide students who struggle with the need to move and those with special needs such as ADHD to engage in needed movement while staying engaged in the learning process. Having the option of movement while working, allows students to release their energy in a positive manner. In doing so, students are engaged more effectively in the learning process with fewer class distractions. The stools and balls will allow my students to have the freedom to choose which best fits their needs.
