Color copies will greatly add to my language lessons in a way that is vital to language learning. In language acquisition, kinetic learning is essential. I incorporate into my lessons, as often as I can, real-life experiences and 3D visuals when possible and colored visuals when the previously mentioned are not available. The economic limitations at my school allow for only black and white copies with only one printer cartridge per teacher, per year. Due to these monetary constraints, I often have to settle for the dull black and white visuals available to me. A color printer and color cartridges will allow students to more clearly visualize vocabulary and be stimulated in positive ways, encouraging them to more fully engage in the many language learning activities and games I provide for them. I am looking forward to providing my students with vibrant visuals and manipulatives this school year.
