Tablets will help students be engaged during my literacy centers and small group reading lesson. My students love to use technology; therefore, using tablets will help increase their love for learning. Tablets will be used daily during guided reading to access our online reading resources for students to use independently. Students will also use the tablets daily for our district-wide reading support program-Smarty Ants. By using this technology, my students will have the differentiated support needed to help them become successful in the classroom and prepared for 3rd grade. The tablets will be a great addition to my classroom to help meet the needs of each student.
