We currently have 4 sets of microphones that we have used in our past productions. The musical, Willy Wonka, requires that we have at least the three extra microphones that we are asking for. There are scenes where there are 8 characters on stage with speaking lines and sharing microphones will not work. Microphones are essential for our productions as we present them from an elementary school stage that swallows sound. In addition to that, having the students work with microphones at a young age helps to build their confidence and an added bonus is that the audience gets to hear every word or song that the young actors say or sing.
