Our 5th grade class will be doing a novel study of the amazing book Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Your donation will allow each of my students to have the book at their fingertips. Having a book to follow along with is critical to student engagement. While reading this book students will learn valuable lessons about courage, kindness, friendship and character. Students will enhance their reading skills through rich vocabulary, critical thinking and analyzing the text. This book will lead to many powerful discussions and personal connections for the students. Wonder is the perfect novel for 5th grade students. Kindness is contagious!
