Engaging our students the moment they walk into the room is essential in a successful classroom environment. My students are welcomed each day to "morning experiences" where they are encouraged to create, design, explore and discover through hands-on stations to get their minds ready for the day. We have seen an increase in attendance in our elementary school because they are excited to get to school and see what the morning has to offer. I watch my students race to see what station they want to explore first and excitedly tell their friends what they are doing when they walk into the room. The OSMO kit is a way to transform your iPad into a learning tool. It encourages visual thinking, problem-solving, and creative drawing skills as well as turning core subjects into fun. I would love to offer this station as a regular "morning experience" for my students so they are able to use 21st-century learning in the classroom.
