I am a special education case manager at GCHS. I have several students that enjoy auto mechanics and carpentry. The problem is that they struggle with reading a tape measure or ruler when they are asked to measure items. The digital tape measure is a tool that will accommodate them in the classroom to stay with their regular education peers. This year I am introducing real world bath and English skills into my resource classrooms. My students will be learning how to fill out job applications, create a resume, fill out a time card, etc. These items will be used daily by my students to complete their classwork.
