Many of my students are not traditional learners. They are not able to spend all day learning in a chair at a desk. They need to move, feel comfortable, and have variety in their seating options. The requested supplies will help my students stay focused on the important learning they are doing each day. The selected stand up desks will give students the option to stand during instruction. I have also selected a variety of comfortable seating for my students such as stools, bean bags, balls, and pillows. With these resources, I will be able to provide them with various options around the classroom where they can go to read, write, and work.
