Please help me to purchase sensory play materials for my neurodiverse students. These materials provide meaningful opportunities for learning several academic concepts in the areas of language, math, and science. Research shows that sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction for neurodiverse students. Sensory play areas provide a safe area to help students get ready to learn. Your help will go a long way in helping our school meet the needs of all students on site, especially those who are not engaged with paper/pencil seat work activities during their school day.
