In our dual language classroom, students are required to converse in a non-native language. Using Chromebooks in the classroom will allow them to access dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias in both languages. Also, students can work collaboratively using Google Docs and Google Slides where they can message each other practicing both Spanish and English. I intend to teach my students how to conduct research and create documents using the Google Chromebooks as a tool in the research process. Students will also be able to access reading and math programs to enhance their learning. The Google Chromebooks will be a great resource to our dual language program enabling my students to become 21st century learners.
