My students make each day so fun. Lately, we have been digging into picture books to review the skills we have learned this year. I am hoping to build a picture book library that is as diverse as our classroom library. I believe so much in the ability to move and fidget while learning. Students get excited about choosing their seat when they come into the classroom. As a teacher, I can then build upon that excitement and carry it over into my lesson. Flexible seating reduces fatigue and helps students stay awake and present in the lesson. I would love to provide my students with more flexible seating options and fidget toys for guided reading group.
