My students need a safe, comfortable and quiet place in the classroom where they can read and listen to their favorite stories. Without a classroom rug, my students are forced to stay at their desk chairs for all learning activities. Young students need to be able to move around! This is why a rug to change up seating is crucial to their learning. With a rug, my students will be more motivated to curl up with a good book! My students can also come together as a whole class to interact and learn together on the rug. It can be used for buddy reading, educational games, and so much more.
