As a teacher, I do not have enough in my teacher fund from the school to finance all of the copies of "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo. These books are important for a project that my students will be doing this year. They will be investigating the French Revolution and Latin Revolutions. During this investigation, they will also explore moral character and the greater good of people through analyzing "Les Miserables." They will explore concepts of literary analysis, formal court procedures, intricate details of what makes a revolution, and persuasive strategies to prepare for their final project of defending a famous revolutionary.

About my class
