I often hear my students say, "I've never finished a book on my own," and they are 9-14 years old. Without a library at our school, my students have very limited access to books. The few sets of books my school has budgeted for have been read by my students in earlier grade levels. I have 100 deserving students with no access to a personal classroom library or school library. The books on the list for this project are books that will interest my students and allow them to discover a love for reading. For this project I am searching for the gift of single personal reading books for the students to use. The purchase of any of these books would make an incredible difference in my students' lives.
