We are requesting phonics and sight word activities, alphabet stamps for language arts centers that are engaging, rigorous, and fun during independent learning time. The materials and supplies I am requesting are to help build and strengthen our literacy center time. In First grade we spend a large time of the day having literacy centers so that the teacher is able to work in small groups with students and teach guided reading, writing and math. During this time my students will be able to sit on the new carpet and have an area to work in a small group. They will be excited to use the new sight word games to play and practice high frequency words and spelling patterns. They will get to use stamps, games, and STEM projects to practice reading, building words, and problem solving. By donating to this project you are helping my classroom run smoothly during center time because student will be engaged while the teacher works in a small group. Thank you for helping make this a reality!
