My students were recently provided individual Google Chromebooks via a district awarded technology grant to enhance classroom learning. They all really enjoy using the new technology on sites like ABCya.com, Readingeggs.com and IXL.com. I've seen a tremendous amount of growth in their reading comprehension and grasping of math skills as a result. These programs provide personalized learning opportunities for each student; ensuring they learn at their own pace while achieving classroom goals. Having personal headphones would allow my students the ability to utilize their Chromebooks to its full potential; maximizing their learning experiences and minimizing disturbance to their classroom friends.
