My third graders are tremendous. They all come with a unique set of knowledge and experiences, that bring so much to the classroom. In addition to being 8 and 9 year old boys and girls, my students have many challenges to overcome, including being significantly behind grade level, having ADHD, ADD, EBD and/or a learning disability. Despite these challenges they work hard everyday to make significant gains and growth. They know that when they walk through the door, they are not only loved and cherished, but they have someone who will always have their back. Whether that means feeding them some extra snacks throughout the day, teaching them social skills, building their stamina, listening to them, or challenging them, they know that I will be there supporting them and cheering them on through it all. Having your support, makes it much easier to have my students backs no matter what, so thank you!
