My students will enjoy having more variety in choosing books to read during independent reading time. These books will appeal to their interests and keep them engaged in the reading process. These books will students to become stronger readers because they will have more access to books on their level. There is a wide span of reading levels in my classroom. I have a range of kindergarten to third grade reading levels. These books will help to broaden the choices available to all students. The students have made significant growth since the beginning of the year and I think they would be more successful if they had more books on their reading level.
