Everyday I am charged with the job of igniting the minds of over 20 students who are 9 and 10 years old. My classroom sees a great deal of diversity due to the nature of the county were we live. Some of my students were born on the other side of the country, while others have never left the city limits. Some of my students have parents with graduate degrees, while others have parents who can't read. The diversity that I see poses many unusual challenges in the classroom. But there is one thing that all of my students have in common...they learn more when they are having FUN!
