When students are surrounded by so much technology on a daily basis, it is hard to compete with. My goal with this project is to introduce music technology to them in a way that sparks their interest and creativity. I want to inspire students to be creative. I want them to compose things and not be afraid of making mistakes or being judged. I want them to have a positive environment where they feel free to be creative. I feel like this technology will open their eyes to a whole new world of music. I am hoping it inspires many of them to go on in the music field. I will have the recording studio open and available for them to use before school, after school, and during lunch. I am hoping this will give them something to look forward to, and a safe space for them to be during those times of day. Along with teaching them about technology, this recording studio will also be very helpful in recording all of the auditions my students are always working on to better themselves, as well as for their college scholarship auditions. The following are the items needed to set up the classroom recording studio: Keyboard with a stand Recording Microphone iPad Studio Headphones
