The donations to this project will help improve my students' reading comprehension, get them engaged in topics, foster class discussions, as well as keep learning fun. We read at least one book every day together and the kids love to revisit and read them independently or with a classmate throughout the day. I am asking for fifty paired texts including Stellaluna and National Geographic Readers: Bats. After 12 years of teaching, the books I put all my money into are falling apart. Instead of running over to the "Book Hospital" so that it can get taped up once again, my kinders will be able to spend those extra minutes continuing their adventures inside the books.
